Hunter Ear Surgery Dec 09'

After a year of ear ache after ear ache we finally talked to an ENT. We met with Dr. Marsden on a Monday and was scheduled for Surgery on Thursday. We had to be at the hospital at 6:00am. I was a complete wreck. I started bawling Wednesday night and bawled until he was back in my arms. When we walked into the hospital the nurse looked at me really concerned and asked if I was ok. My reply sure just a mom!
Hunter was such a brave little boy. When we got to the hospital they weighed him and then took us to a little room. They had us put the gown on and some little(I think they were adult size) socks. He didn't make a peep. Just sat there and went with whatever we had him do.
Mitch took the day off work to come be with his little buddy!
This was the crib they put him in to take him away to surgery. Hunter never once cried. He looked back at us when they were going down the hall like where the heck are they taking me. He was sucha brave little guy. Can't say the same for his mommy though!

After surgery they came and got us. He had a really hard time coming out of the anesthesia. First he wanted Mitch then me and back and forth for what seemed like an eternity. After about a gallon of apple juice he finally stopped crying, got dressed and was ready to head home. Boy was I glad that day was over.
